This guide covers viewing and managing SN40L nodes in the SambaRack Manager inventory.
Nodes are added automatically when you add a rack. There is no command to add a node directly.

Node commands

Use the following commands to view and manage nodes.

List nodes

Display all configured nodes:

Use -o wide to add a Type column with the human-readable rack model:
For machine-readable output:

Show node details

View a node and its devices:

Use -o wide to include the rack’s human-readable type in the “Belongs to Rack” line:

Rename node

Assign a custom name to a node:

Adding and removing devices is done with snctl rack add-device and snctl rack delete-device. See Rack administration.

Power operations

Firmware operations

Firmware commands are likewise their own group. Use snctl firmware version to audit installed versions and snctl firmware upgrade to push images. See Firmware Updates.
